I have worked in ISTAR/GV an application that is meant for Brokers for trading stocks in various international markets and gained practical knowledge in the following areas:

• Development : Worked on both new development as well as changes requested by client like: Batch Service that runs at a scheduled time and extracts data pertaining to the Transfer of Accounts between various brokers and convertsit into a report(PDF/XLS/CSV) and sendsto the origin broker using email service. Creating a new flow of Message Processing that allows partial allocation of trades from Processing Queues and UI changes to convert excel file records into messages which are then sent to these Processing queues. Creating a Batch that allows more flexible ETO Trading by auto‐ mating the procedure done using various screens. (etc.)
• Patches and Fixes : Fixed various Bugs and Issues faced by the users in UI as well as backend processing like: Allowing users to upload XLSX instead of XLS files and allow more than 80000 records per file using a new class, Tweaking brokerage calculation formulae to allow more flexibility using rule based tax fee. (etc.)
• Debugging: Tracing and finding root causes of various errors in Production Server.
• Upgradation : Worked in Database Upgradation from older ver‐ sion of Oracle 11g to 19c newer version and reworked the pro‐ ject build in MAVEN and made custom changes to various third party APIs to allow compatibility with the newer database.
• Dev Ops : Managing updates and builds for Dev, QA, and Pro‐ duction Environments and release of new versions of the ap‐ plication.
